The State of Pakistan is trying to cover its war crimes by depicting such enforced disappearances as kidnappings. State agencies are directly involved in the years-long kidnapping for ransom in Balochistan. Hafeezullah Baloch who was abducted from Dalbanden and the abducting Pakistani military Major Naveed demand six million rupees for his release. This case came to light after the Pakistani army chief himself accepted that the army major had kidnapped Hafeezullah for ransom.
