BNM releases monthly report for the month of September 2021:

BNM September Report: More than 40 operations, 61 enforced disappearances, 8 people killed by the army, motives for the killing of 10 people could not be ascertained, 11 bodies recovered.

Dil Murad Baloch, Central Information Secretary, Baloch National Movement, while releasing a detailed report for September 2021, said that 61 persons were forcibly disappeared and 18 persons were killed in 40 operations of Pakistan Army across Balochistan in the month of September. Seven persons were killed by the Pakistani army, and a young man was killed by the army’s death squad. The motive for the killing of ten people could not be ascertained. Sixty people went missing; 53 by the Pakistan Army, five by the so-called Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and three by unknown individuals. Eighteen people were rescued from Pakistani army prisons, most of whom went missing in the same month.

The army ordered the forced evacuation of several villages in Kolwah and Gichk. On the outskirts of Kech, at Askani, the Pakistani army opened fire, killing a woman, Taj Bibi, and wounding her husband. But in the presence of all the evidence, the administration filed an FIR against unknown persons instead of the army.

He said that Pakistan has crossed all the limits of barbarism and bestiality to subdue the Baloch national movement. Not a day goes by, that the houses are not destroyed in Balochistan, the Baloch are not being killed, the property of the Baloch are not being looted. But not a single word is spoken by the Pakistani media, judiciary and civil society. This proves that Baloch and Pakistan are two separate realities which cannot be kept together by mere bloodshed.

Dil Murad Baloch said that Pakistan may think that oppression and barbarism can eradicate Baloch values, psychology and conscious commitment to the movement, but the history and resistance of living nations in the world is full of thousands of such examples that nations cannot be subjugated by such senseless barbarism and bestiality. Not far away, the same atrocities were committed by Pakistan in Bangladesh but Bangladesh today stands in the ranks of the international community in a dignified manner. The fate of Pakistan will not be different in the case of Balochistan. That is the law of nature.

He said that Baloch human rights organizations need to improve and innovate their efforts on human rights violations in Balochistan because if all the components of the movement are not functioning properly, the problems of the Baloch nation will only increase.
