Germany: BNM campaign highlight the serious human rights issue of Balochistan
BNM - Germany Zone arranged a protest demonstration on 20th April in Hannover city of Lower Saxony, Germany. An awareness campaign was also conducted to aware the locals about the grim human rights situation of Balochistan.
Same day, Amnesty International organized an awareness campaign in assistance by BNM in Münster, Germany.
It has been the norms to violate all possible rights of the civilians by Pakistani forces in Balochistan. Thousands of Baloch are imprisoned in secret torture cells of the Pakistani establishment where they are being inhumanly tortured round the clock. Thousands of civilians have also been killed in custody and many were killed and dumped by the forces.
Furthermore, the families of the victims of enforced disappearances have been protesting from the platform of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons for more than a decade now, but to no success as the government and their officials are unable to do anything on the matter.
Moreover, on 26th December 2018, UAE officials arrested Rashid Hussain Brohi without any warrant and kept him incommunicado. After the passage of almost four months, he is still missing. We have serious fear for his deportation to Pakistan where Pakistani armed forces had already killed thousands of political and social activists in target killing, fake encounters and military operations.
We request all concerned organizations and the civilized world to raise their voice for the indigenous people of Balochistan. Save us from a genocide and help us regain our independence.
