Balochistan: Human rights violation is a daily routine by Pakistan. Dil Murad Baloch
Baloch National Movement's central Information Secretary Dil Murad Baloch publics the monthly report of November 2018. The report reveals an increase in level of operations and enforced disappearances of Baloch political and social activists.
The Information secretary stated: “Pakistan Army and its intelligence agencies are violating own constitution and international laws as well in Balochistan, while playing dirty game of bloodshed in Balochistan; the violation of human rights has become an order of day for security forces.”
He further informed that Pakistani forces carried out 41 major and minor operations and raids; 77 person were arrested and shifted to undisclosed locations. During this month 14 dead bodies were recovered, in which 5 were identified as Baloch who were martyred in different occasions by security forces, and rest 9 bodies’ cause of death was not traced. Security forces also looted 50 houses during the military operations. In the month of November, 12 persons were released, in which 8 persons were whisked away in this year from different times; whereas a person was released after 5 years of lapse, and 3 persons of same family, mother with her two sons were also released, among them one son was enforced disappeared in 2014 and mother with another son was arrested and disappeared in 2015.
The Information Secretary of BNM stated: “Pakistani so called media and international media are black hole with respect to Balochistan. Army and other security are blatantly committing war crimes in Balochistan. Balochistan has turned to an alter home, the situation of human rights violations is worst in Balochistan comparatively other parts of the world; However, international responsible organisations are silent on brazen violation of human rights situation in Balochistan, and have turned a blind eye to the crimes of Pakistan, which has become one of the prime reason of Baloch nation’s genocide and a great reason of their exploitation.”
Dil Murad Baloch asserted that Baloch had been protesting against enforced disappearances; instead of releasing the missing persons, Pakistan had increased abduction of activists those who are vocal against enforced disappearances. It was a clear message to Baloch nation, those who speak against atrocities of Pakistan, for then they would further pay in shape surge in enforced disappearances of Baloch youths.
BNM’s Information Secretary Dil Murad Baloch said, “the issue of Balochistan is not solely associated with Baloch nation or to this region only; in fact, it is an international problem where a humanitarian crisis has evolved, it is essential for the world bodies to take initiatives and rescue Baloch nation from this perilous situation.”
